Frequently asked questions

How do I do a sum?

Use the keypad like a calculator, for example 1200 × 3 or 500 + 18%. The sum shows above the amount, and the result converts as you type.

How does % work?

After + or −, it's a percentage of the running total: 500 + 18% is 590. After × or ÷, or on its own, it means divide by 100: 500 × 20% is 100.

How do I add, reorder or remove pinned pairs?

Settings → Manage Pinned Pairs. Tap Add New Pair and choose the From currency, then the To currency. Drag to reorder, and swipe left to delete. The top five show in the carousel above the converter.

How do I favourite a currency?

In the currency list, swipe left on a currency and tap the star (iPhone and iPad), or tap the star beside it (Android). Up to six favourites stay at the top.

Where is my history? Can I delete it?

Tap the clock key at the bottom-left of the keypad. Tap any entry to use it again. The app keeps your 25 most recent conversions, and Clear All History removes them. History is stored only on your device.

Where do the exchange rates come from?

From Frankfurter.dev, which publishes reference rates from central banks and other official sources. Settings shows when they were last updated. Rates are for reference and may differ from what banks and card providers charge.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The app keeps the last rates it downloaded and uses them until it can refresh.

Can I switch between Indian and international number formats?
