Tick Me Off is a habit tracker for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your habits stay on your device, and in your own iCloud only if you turn sync on.

What the app stores

Tick Me Off stores the things you enter: your habits (name, icon, colour, unit and goals), the days you tick, and any details you add to a day, such as an amount, a duration, a note or photos. Your settings, such as reminder time, week start and appearance, are stored too.

All of this is kept on your device, in the app's private storage. It is protected by your device's built-in encryption and included in your device's own backups.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account sign-up, and it does not send your data, usage information, identifiers, crash logs or analytics to us or to anyone else. It contains no third-party SDKs, advertising or tracking. We cannot see your habits.

iCloud sync (optional)

iCloud sync is off until you turn it on. If you turn it on, your data is stored in your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit, so it can sync between your iPhone, iPad and Mac. That data lives in your iCloud account and is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it.

You can turn sync off at any time in Profile.

Permissions

Backups

You can export a backup file from Profile. The file is saved wherever you choose (for example, the Files app), and goes nowhere else unless you share it yourself.

Deleting your data

Delete a habit, or clear a day, in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the synced data in your device's iCloud settings (Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud ▸ Manage Storage).

Children

Tick Me Off is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
